Appeals

WHIPLASH  a Farr 727 is appealing his rating.

After much discussion,  we looked at past changes and note that the Mod version used to rate 6 seconds faster, the Mod boat was rated by GHPRF in 2006, the headliner was removed and the stern was cut out, in 2009, GHPRF adjusted the rating again to the same as the standard version.

We also noted that the rating has been changed  from a high of 207 in 2006 to a low of 189 at present.

Toronto West recommends a FS SP change to 201 and a corresponding NFS rating change.

As the boat is not unique to Toronto West, we need Central Council to make the final decision.

We have 3 boats that were discussed but we needed to verify data and will do this by email in the next week.
