Meeting Called to Order: 1900 Hours

Agenda: Review boats in district for rating appropriateness.

Review initial rating of class after one year (Swan 44-2 TM SD)

Assign rating to new class (Nassau 34)

Recommendations to Central Counsel:

Alberg 30; -6 adjustment NFS & FS.  Supported by data & local handicapper observations.

C&C ½ Ton; -3 adjustment NFS & FS.  Supported by Data.

C&C 41; +3 adjustment NFS & FS. Supported by Data.

Catalina 30 TM BS; -6 adjustment NFS & FS strongly recommended. Supported by data & local handicapper observations.

Catalina 34 TM; +3 adjustment NFS & FS.  Supported by data.

Farr/Northstar 727; -6 adjustment NFS & FS. Supported by data & local handicapper observations.

J100; -6 NFS & +6 FS adjustments. Supported by data & three local handicapper observations.

Pearson 30;  -3 adjustment NFS and FS. Supported by data.

Ranger 22; -12 adjustment NFS & FS strongly recommended. Supported by data & long time observations by local handicapper.  This class consistently sails well below it’s current rating.  It needs this large adjustment so that others may compete effectively.

Tartan 34>200; +9 adjustment NFS & FS. Supported by data & local handicapper observations

Hunter 29.5; +9 adjustment NFS. Supported by data & local handicapper observations.  Unanimous Vote.  New Rating 228 NFS.  There is no FS rating for this class.

O’Day 27 IB; +3 adjustment NFS.  Supported by data & local handicapper observations. Unanimous Vote. New Rating 237 NFS.  There is no FS rating for this class.

One Year Review of New Class:

Swan 44-2 TM SD; No change.  Boat is appropriately rated as is, NFS 99 & FS 81, in average conditions.  Supported by data and three local handicappers.

 New Class:

Nassau 34; Rating is NFS 216 & FS 198 minus 6 for protection of the fleet at initial rating.  Ratings are therefore NFS 210 & FS 192.  Tom Staple (OYC Handicapper) has prepared and will submit paperwork directly to PHRF-LO.
