Another Sailing Season is over

I am now looking at processing race results. Please ensure that you or your club designate send in your results as soon as possible.

I am also in the process of setting up an Executive and Central Council Meeting, probably in November and am already thinking about the AGM.

RACE RESULTS DEADLINE

December 20th

   In order for me to be able to process your results and get them included in this year's analysis, I must receive them no later than December 20th.

    If I encounter a problem with your results I would need to contact you and get it resolved prior to the cut off date. So please send them in as soon as possible.

Annual General Meeting

The tentative date and place for the AGM as decided at the 2002 AGM is:

January 10, 2004

An Executive meeting will be held during November at which time the following items are slated for the agenda.

- Financial Review and fees for 2004
- Continuing education for handicappers
- Presentation by sailmaker at AGM
- Mailing address of organization
- Information release to owners
- Executive Assistant responsibilities
- Bylaw changes
- Legal Waiver
- Directors Insurance
- Donation to OSA youth sailing

A Central Council meeting will also be held at which time the following items are slated for the agenda.

- Creation of new District for Georgian Bay area
- New Boat Class review
- Hunter 30 and Hunter 30 TM rating review
- Melges 24 NFS rating review
- Hunter 28.5 SD new rating review - not approved
- Henderson 30 rating review
- J 35 as Standard boat as suggested by US Sailing
- Graduated NFS rating adjustments for jibs
- Morc 30 class designation review
- Other ongoing issues
