7. Point to Point (P2P) Time Correction Factor (TCF)
A FS-P2P & NFS-P2P Time Correction Factor (TCF) will be calculated for every Certificate.
7.1. The P2P-TCF shall apply for any courses that are longer than 6 nautical mile that are of the random leg variety (marks are not adjustable to a true windward leeward Course.)
7.2 The P2P Offset will be “class” based using the Jim Teeters GPH-WL8, modified for crew weight. (Ref: PHRF-LO Appendage Pg 12)
7.3 Any applicable Centerline Credit (2.5) will be subtracted.
7.4 The P2P-TCF will be calculated as follows:
FS-P2P = 650/(550 + (ASP – Centerline Credit +/- P2P Offset))
NFS-P2P = (650/(550 +(ASP +/- P2P Offset))

PHRF-LO Point to Point Offset – P2P-Offset
The value of a Class “Point to Point” offset shall be derived using the difference between the Jim Teeters WL10 less GPH, with a modified Crew weight value**.

SadnDisp = (Amain+Aspinn) / (Sailing Displacement / 64)2/3
Amain = (P/8)*(2*E + 3*(0.65*E) + (2*0.38*E) + (0.04*E or 0.5{whichever is greater}))
Agenoa = 0.5 * 1.55 * J * Sqrt(I2 + J2 )
Aspinn = 1.8 * 0.79 * JSP * Sqrt(ISP2 + JSP2)
Sailing Displacement = Displacement + Crew weight from Table
