1. Your boat must be a PHRF-Lake Ontario handicapped class.
Handicaps from other PHRF organizations do not apply. If you are unsure if your boat has been handicapped by PHRF-LO you can check on-line via our Class Query.

UNDERSTANDING THE PROCESS
Handicapping can be frustrating when you need a certificate quickly or want a certain handicap but do not know how the process works. The following outline will describe the process a Certificate Application goes through. This will give you a better understanding of how and why things happen.

Please contact your club handicapper.
He/she will be happy to supply you with an application form and help you complete it. He/she will also ensure that your application reaches our office.

You can apply for a one year certificate through the event organizer or by contacting the PHRF-LO administration office.
The cost of a NON-member certificate (as of 2022) is $44.25 Cdn (plus HST $5.75) = $50.00.
