Mirage 33 Mod                 SP = 144   There is no -6 to protect the fleet.

The Mirage 33 Mod, Ophir II Certificate 3435 has been further modified.  The rudder has been replaced with a newer slightly smaller area rudder designed by Steve Killing, the old rudder had split.  The boom has been lengthened for a second time and another 0.58’ added to E.  An inner forestay has been added about 8” behind the forestay.  This is for setting heavy weather sails when sailing singlehanded.  Those present voted for a -3 penalty for the 0.58’ added to E which will allow a slightly larger mainsail.  No change in rating for the rudder or inner forestay

C&C ¾ Ton:

The C&C ¾ Ton (SP = 150) and the C&C 33 (SP = 144)  have identical dimensions but different ratings.  The C&C ¾ was the prototype for the 33, same hull different deck layout.  Both of the C&C ¾ tons are in Toronto West.  The handicapper from NYC suggested that they should be have the same SP.

Toronto West voted to change the C&C ¾ Ton SP to 144.

Dufour 31  Certificate #5796.  This boat is a shoal draft version of the Dufour 31 and should be designated as a        Dufour 31 SD with an SP = 204.   The will be no -6 PTF.  Draft is 4.75’
