2a) Quest 30/33 MOD1
Initial Assignment set to FS-SP: 81 with no PTF
The background is that Quest made a 30 model, this one being the water ballast version
which has been disabled. Later Quest added a scoop on the stern, replacing the 30 with a 33.

The previous owner modded his 30 by adding the scoop, changing from dual rudders to
single in the end make it similar to the Quest 33.
PHRF-LO does have a rating for the 33 and after talking with Owen and Adam I set a rating
of 3 sec/mile slower that the 33 for this mod boat due to extra displacement. Owen and Adam
have reviewed the rating and are in agreement. Additionally there was no PTF added since it
is a mod of a rated boat.
There is no usable race date, I think two races locally at third and fourth out of four boats using
a provisional rating slower than what is suggested. The division is pretty mixed, a couple of J/80s
and a VX One so difficult to draw a conclusion.
